Notes
Variations - (Pathanthara)
1 – dASarathI – dASarathE.
2 – bhava – bhaya : In all books, the meaning derived is ‘Worldly Existence’. Therefore, ‘bhava’ has been adopted. Further, from prAsa-anuprAsa point of view, ‘bhava’ seems to be appropriate.

3 - jalajOdbhavArti – This, probably, refers to vishNu slaying demons madhu and kaiTabha who threatened brahmA. brahmA prays to yOga mAyA to wake up Lord vishNu to destroy these demons. dEvi bhAgavataM, Book 1, Chapter 9 refers.
